Hetia Lovae - The Founder, Original Headmaster, The Ghost
I don't often believe in fairytales. This is mainly because all the creatures that exist in them can be found here on the campus. From the notorious big, bad wolf to the most wickedest witch of the west - we have them all. However, the story of Hetia Lovae, is a fairtytale rarely spoken about due to the mysterious vanishing of not only her but all records on her as well. Most information on her is merely world of mouth from elders who either are immortal and unsure due to time blending together for them or from elders who are abit...loony. Therefore, I am only telling you information on her that should be enough to gather a picture of the woman who founded the school we now reside in.
Born Hetia Lovae Amel, the original came to the Elven life in the crowning period of 1817. They say she would have been a spring elf if she could have possessed the ability to control the elements. However, this wasn't the case. Hetia was reportedly unable to control any element and until the age of 7, no real ability has been recorded about her. An elder from her clan says that she apparently sprouted the ability to read minds and use telekinesis around 7 - 8. They had deemed her a wind element user, however upon farther inspection it became clear that she couldn't in fact control the air. Her clan called her ability a fluke and therefore put her into the class of the talentless elves.
She remained in this class until she turned ten, a professor of hers saying that she eventually had a tantrum and chairs around the room started flying as a child in the class was picking on her. The child was supposedly hospitalized from 3 broken ribs and a broken leg after a chair was repeated bashed into him from an unknown force. After this, Hetia was given a private tutor and commanded to spend the rest of her school years being home-schooled. At the age of 16, she ran away from home in Spain - the exact region is unknown due to the fact the elves are nomadic- and went to America with a portion of her fortune she was to inherit. It is said she fled on a spice ship but that can't be confirmed, only in speculation. Regardless, Hetia found herself in the new world and for 3 years there is no real say what she did. Even so, she must have been investing and managing her money because in 1836, pregnant by a husband otherwise virtually unknown, Hetia purchased 26,000 acres of land in Oklahoma, which is where the school resides, and built the original school - Dimed Oak. The name came from an oak tree that here at the new school, Lupin having carved him and Hetia's name into the trunk for luck. Three years ago the large oak was removed from the old plot to the new one that we now reside at, the hole is still there today. Regardless, the school was meant to be originally a school for the disabled but clans began to dump children who were like Hetia at the doorsteps. These children having become the rejected offspring of all social kinds, many of which paying large sums of money to keep their names clean from relation to a special child - for nearly 3 years the school because a pit of children with special talents and unnurtured traits.
Finally, nearly four years after the opening the school, Hetia grew irate at the steady influx of children who has evolved past the primal tradition of their species and now were deemed useless. She began to write around the world for teachers for these children. Many renowned people ridiculed Hetia, saying that she was drawing attention that she wouldn't like. Ignoring threats from the wealthy families that had basically asked to use the school as a hide away for their evolved children, Hetia presisted and eventually drew in 10 teachers who as children had been just as those children. Men and women who had honed their skills, powers that Hetia had described in great detail in her letters. In August 1842, the children began their first day of training. They were sectioned off by powers that appeared to be able to work together or were similar. It took over 3 months to categorize them all and by the time they were finished, it was already need Halloween. For one month straight, Hetia and the Teachers worked to teach their students how to control their powers as best they, themselves know. By Christmas, when the children were summoned home all students were able to call on their abilities at will.
This didn't fare well with the parents of this children. They had expected the children to be sent away, lose their abilities as they grew up, and come home "normal". Wealthy contributors who'd been supporting the school started to shun it, taking their children away, and calling Hetia a bad influence. Gossip started that Hetia was trying to ruin clans all around the world with unorthodox teachings of foreign ways due to her being in the new world. For nearly 7 years passed and she didn't receive any new children than orphans already there. However, in July of 1849, Hetia received a letter from a Spanish Duke. His son had been at the school and he had learned how to control his telekinesis under Hetia's direct supervision. Over the years, the boy had been practicing daily with the bits of information that Hetia gave him. Recently, the boy ended up saving a little girl from falling off a mountain ridge by using his "mental powers" as the Duke called it. He was writing to ask could he reinstate the child for more instruction. No more than a month later, nearly 20 students were back in her school with parents eager to have their children following in the young Earl's footsteps.
While Hetia was tackling the work of the school instructionally, her husband, Lupin is said to have taken over financially. He is said to have invested her money wisely in real estate, cars as they became the latest craze, and liquor shops. Her husband became the money typhoon in their relationship as he added to her fortune with his own. Years pasted and everything became rather easy living. Which is why it is so strange that 1929, during the great depression they just vanished. The school was left to their eldest babe who ran it for three year and signed it over to a non-profit organization. Quickly following, with confused hearts, they renamed the school Hetia - Immortal Weapons. They relocated the school farther into Oklahoma, building better into the environment and enlarging the campus by a +150,000 acres as well as taking the Dimed Oak with it. It wasn't until 2005, when our current headmaster, Egdibal Granten, a proven direct descent of the school's famed Hetia, took over.
Through the years, students who were once taught by Hetia became teachers as they had been grasps on their powers than their predecessors. It became a common then that the most prestigious of the school became leaders and celebrities throughout the world - becoming the financial backbone to the school as thanks for giving them a place to learn. In more recent years, it has become more tradition rather than thanks due to the fact differences are now better excepted throughout the years.
