Hetia GRanten
Hetia Granten was born Hetia Peirai in a Clan Known as The Drows. With no direct connection to these fabled dark creatures, Hetia's Clan specialized in healing. Many of the world's "shamans" can from this group, using magic as a primary means to heal. While, it is uncommon now due to today's records and such, it is said that Hetia was lacking in the magically aspect of life and often seen as a bad omen because of her psychic ability to foresee the death of people around her. Thus, whenever Hetia showed up at someone's door she was promptly beaten and stoned in hopes of saving those inside from heartship. It did not. In her mid-twenties, Hetia left her clan, though still carrying her surname and went to find her calling in life. Hetia loved people and with her family's teaching, she often enjoyed to help others and teach them. She eventually opened up a school. Originally intending to teach all, though fate had a different plan as she found more and more children like her found their way to her door, she made it simply a private school which recruited only certain students. Though Hetia had a knack for her death predictions, she soon found she could easily see those who suffered like her in being so uncommonly different in dreams and visions. It became a second calling for her to bring these children to her school and house them. In her dreams, Hetia said, she envisioned her husband. Lupin Granten. She wrote in a letter to a teacher of her time, that she saw him with open arms and a broad smile, waiting for her as if he had no other reason to live. The following year, she and Lupin met and within six months they were married. Lupin, having been a very wealthy man due to family wealth, instantly began helping his wife financially anyway he could. From importing children from farther reaches of the globe to expanding the land and structure of the school.
For nearly 40 years, Lupin and Hetia ran the school. Then one they...they disappeared. At first, people thought they were just on vacation. However, when their two children reported them missing nearly a year later it was abundantly clear...it was not. Unable to support the school like their parents due to their own lives, the children sold the school in 1915 to a private investor who closed the facilities and merely let it go to shambles. However, in recent years, the headmaster of the school, Edgibal Granten, repurchased the school and due to his direct descent from the son of the famed owner - now upholds his family's heritage after a nearly 2.5 billion dollar refurbish.
