Rules of Hetia
School life can be hard to adapt here in Hetia. Rules can seem to be easily overlooked when given due to the casual manner the academy is run, however, this is not the case. The guidelines of the school are in place and are harshly looked upon. In this segment, I will be giving you a downloadable copy of the Student Handbook. (Read below) Read it! I am not putting this together for my health.
Dress Code Rules
Φ Whatever Class you have been placed in, you are required to wear that uniform. Yes, the staff extremely lenient on this due to the fact that so many colours overlap when ranking comes about but generally if you are new you are required to wear the hue. Of course, male and female uniforms vary unless specified pants. So take this into consideration when dressing.
Art - Tan Sweater with Black Pants (Costumes are allowed for Theatre students)
Athletes - A blue field jacket and black shorts or sweats
Cooking - Black with Gold Trim or Tan
Gadgets - Mechanics Uniform (Navy Blue, Olive Green, or Grey normal)
Language - Proper Japanese School Uniform (Colours Vary)
Magic - Blue
Melee - Black
Music - Black Blazer/Sweater, White Shirt, Red Tie (Hats are optional)
Vehicles/Racing - Normally Casual Attire (Track Uniform/Jumpers Required on Track)
Science - White Lab Coat with black pants, shirt left to preference
Shape Shifters - Casual attire allowed at all times but badge must be shown
Φ It is to be stated again that you may advance in rank and therefore your school colours will overlap with other class'. Let it be known though that at anytime if asked to present your badge as proof of advancement - you are to do so immediately. This includes, but not limited to, if asked by staff, Higher Ranking Students, the HeadMaster, or any member of the Council. Any negligence on your part to comply will result in instant punishment and possible expelling. Respecting of Ranks is highly demanded, recruit.
Cafeteria Time
Φ Following the most lenient rule is the Eatting Quarters rule. You are given only one eatting ticket per day, 5 per week due to school hours being Monday through Friday in during the week. This means, you are only supposed to eat once a day and commence with classes until school is announced to be over. I state the obvious because it has been known that students will bully their peers into surrendering their tickets as a means to eat more than once. If you are bullied, you are to report it to a teach immediately. Fighting is not a means to resolve this and you are looking at severe punishment if not expulsion. Tread wisely.
Φ You only have a viable hour to eat lunch before you are required to go back to class. While you may at any time decide to go to the cafe, even during a lecture, it is up to you to make that time up and find a way to get the information lost to you while eatting - don't pester other people. There are several break times throughout the day - use them wisely.
Classes
Φ Like any other school, Hetia rotates classes. You are required to take up to three classes as well as your general knowledge classes. It is highly recommended you try and diversify and look into other areas besides ones that are similar to your own. For example, Second Rank of the school - he takes Magic, Math, and Melee as well as Languages, Science, Literature, and many other core classes. Second Rank's prowess classes have no real relation to each other and therefore are well placed in means to broaden horizons as the school so hopes all of it students will do.
Φ It is natural not to be the best at everything. If you take a class and you don't excel, don't give up on it just because of that. You can easily get better with practice and if you really wish to get better ask someone who majours in it. They have to have a knack for the art to be allowed to majour in this regardless of potential, so even the worse of the bunch is better than someone who doesn't even majour in the skill. If you honestly try and decide you will never succeed, you may contact me/any higher rank to look into getting a transfer.
Φ Homework is rare, it's how you preform that counts. While teachers don't give out homework often, they do give pages you should read (google articles linked to you) - heed them. This will come up one day possibly and you don't want to be caught off guard. From potion recipes, to musical instruments of a fallen culture, these things matter.
Φ Combat is to be preformed in combat based classes or in a sparring area. If you aren't in one or the other and caught fighting, refer to the bullying comment I made earlier. There are instances that this is overlooked. If a teacher is supervising you, you only need to refer to the teacher for a blue badge which will be set with a time limit. After the time limit - the badge will beep and then dissolve in place. You will be required to then either stop the battle or have the teacher give another badge set for you. Either way, you will need this badge to continue if you don't wish to be reprimanded for a fight originally allowed.
Φ There is to be no Prowess/Skill using outside of the classroom. (Cooking/Music is excluded due to the common nature of the skill unless it is combat related.) If you are caught doing anything possibly related to your skill, you will be severely punished. This included but is not limited to: Flying, shape-shifting, Mind-reading, Controlling others, Charming others, using magic, calling an element, or teleporting. Teachers have ways to detect these actions as well as many others, be forewarned.
Recreational Time and How to Spend It
Φ Sports and Events. Hetia hosts many sports, events, festivals, and things of that nature. Bulletins will be posts (in profile and on forum) and give you a chance to interact with other students of all classes, as well as compete. There is to be no cheating or you will be disqualified and possibly banned from entering the future festivals.
Φ If you are on punishment, these things are prohibited. It goes without saying if you are being reprimanded and an Event is at hand - you aren't allowed. High Rankings and Teachers will be notified to keep you from attending. If you are seen crashing an event, you are immediately to be put in a Penance Chamber for farther disciplinary actions by any means necessary. You have been warned.
Φ Sex. While it is apart of many people's lives, it is required to be private. If you are to partake in the act of sexual recreation, you are not to display it in a public area. This includes and again, not limited to: pools, the library, the gaming center, dorm lobbies, elevators, staircases, dorm halls, gardens, the front gates, the hedges, and the forests. If you are caught doing this, actions will be taken. Also, side note, they don't let you finish.
ΦWeekend Trips. During the weekend, it is natural for you to want to escape the premises of Hetia. This is fine. Just be sure that you come back by the end of the night -unless of course you have funds to spend the night at a hotel. However, when Sunday, at 11:59 - the gates automatically lock. In the morning, Monday if you aren't accounted for - you will be deemed a run-away. With Run-away status you are viable to lose rank, position, and be extracted from your room. You have until Thursday of that week to return or you may face more dire disciplinary actions.
Φ Hetia Trips. You don't have money to go out on the weekends? That is fine. The school hosts school wide events and even gives spending money to the students that go. With your rank, you naturally have earned more money. The top five school-wide ranking students may get anywhere from 10k to spend to 25k. Lower ranks have been known to win mini contests to receive up to 7k extra spending cash to their naturally given 3k. So it is possible to be a big spender with the Higher Rankings.
Punishments
Φ Detention. Kryptonite for Superman, Poison Gas for Batman - whatever your weakness is for you. Whatever your class is, you have a weakness. This being said, if you are sent to detention you are issued a pink slip. With this pink slip, you are given a time/date to show up to the detention room ordered to you. This room has been programmed from the moment you get your detention slip to use your recorded weakness as your punishment for however long that slip says in a dose that will not kill you. If you don't report to detention, you will be hunted by the Hetia Hounds.
Φ Penance Chambers. These are chambers below the school. They are guarded by 2 fallen angels that have the ability to turn into whatever a person's weakness is. How, I don't know. Regardless, they are to guard you. Don't try to fight them - they are stronger than you. While in the Penance chamber, you are to repent and ask forgiveness to the Higher Being (even if Atheist, which is possible, you ask forgiveness from Karma)
